Privacy policy

Workshop Cloud Mailbox is a personal utility operated by Feng Xue. It is used to archive selected messages and attachments and to maintain an attention queue in Google Drive.

Data the app accesses

The app uses Google's drive.file permission. It can create, read, and update files it created or that the owner shared with it. Those files can contain message headers and bodies, attachments, processing decisions, and attention-index text. The app does not request broad access to unrelated Drive files.

How the data is used

The app stores message records and attachments in private Drive folders, updates its attention index, and retrieves records for the owner's review. Local copies of processing state and acknowledgements are stored on the owner's computer. The data is used to operate the mailbox and its review workflow, not for advertising or sale.

Sharing and service providers

Google Drive stores the cloud files. The owner may give specific accounts, including the owner's connected assistant accounts, access to the private folders so they can read records for the owner. Folder sharing is controlled by the owner. This website does not display mailbox contents.

Retention and control

Records remain until the owner removes them from Drive or the local Workshop runtime. The owner can revoke this app's Google access in Google Account settings. Revoking access stops future Drive operations but does not itself delete existing files.
